My paintings are inspired by my daily interactions with nature, the feeling of being surrounded by and immersed in the trees and foliage, the rustling leaves, shifting light, and rich textures of the bush.

About the Artist
Narelle's work reflects her deep connection to the natural world, drawing from years of global travel before returning to Australia in 2021 to reconnect with the rugged landscapes that shaped her artistic vision.
My Process
I often begin painting by quickly applying thin washes of colour and drawing back into the work with pastel and other media. I work intuitively, building and removing layers to reveal other colours beneath, attempting to capture the feeling of being in a place rather than a specific image.
